Barista

Our client is an upscale restaurant in Dubai currently hiring an experienced Barista. What will you do

1. Set up daily bar counter and ensure that mise en place and any other required ingredients and equipment are prepared in order to work as efficiently as possible.
2. Ensure that all beverages such as coffee and teas are in good order to be served.
3. Check the inventory daily before each shift to assure correct amounts are stocked up to avoid running out of stock during service periods.
4. Assist in carrying out monthly inventories.
5. Assure that correct date labeling is always in place for all related products.
6. Anticipate guests' needs by following service behavior.
7. Ensure that the equipment is taken care of and managed in a proper manner to avoid any breakdowns.

1. Min 2 years previous experience as a barista.
2. Being aware of the basics for cold drinks and mocktails preparation.
3. Warm and inviting personality.
4. Ability to think calmly under pressure.
5. Willingness to learn open-mindedly.
6. Passion for food & beverage and a curious personality.
