AtkinsRealis are looking for a Project Manager for a large Data Centre project in Abu Dhabi UAE. About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data centre operations, and IT infrastructure. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data centre projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, facilities, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress and performance ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management with a focus on data centre projects.
  • Prior UAE experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure including power, cooling, networking, and security.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of data centre best practices and industry standards (e.g. Uptime Institute, TIA-942).
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
