Job details

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  2. Create wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and cable routing plans.
  3. Ensure all drawings adhere to ADNOC specifications, industry codes, and UAE regulations.
  4. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
  5. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to gather information and clarify design requirements.
  6. Coordinate with other drafting teams for integrated project deliverables.
  7. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
  8. Provide support for as-built documentation during project completion.
  9. Review drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project scope.
  10. Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings and project requirements.
  11. Assist in site surveys and data collection to incorporate field conditions into designs.
  12. Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
  1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as an E&I Draftsman, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
  3. ADNOC projects experience is preferable.
  4. Expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar drafting software.
  5. Familiarity with E&I standards such as IEC, NEC, and ADNOC guidelines.
  6. Understanding of P&IDs, SLDs, and control system architecture.
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  8. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
