Content Marketing Specialist - 3 days a week in Central London, Remote Mondays and Fridays. In office Tuesday - Thursday. Intro A leading tech company is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team and help support brand awareness, lead generation and campaign execution across multiple channels to drive pipeline and revenue growth. Key Points
- 3-5 years of experience in a technology company or agency serving tech industry
- Ideally a specialist in content distribution and performance marketing but we’re keeping it broader for now
- Not a management position
- Repurpose content into new formats (such as blogs, video clips, webinars, social posts and more) to distribute across multiple channels to amplify its reach.
- Identify opportunities and drive creative ideas for maximizing the reach and effectiveness of content so it resonates with specific audience segments and buying stages
- Manage distribution of content across multiple channels
- Nurture leads with personalised email campaigns – creating targeted email nurture tracks and building workflows to drive engagement
- Run online events (webinars)
- Help conceive and develop new campaigns and strategies, including personalization tactics and emerging distribution channels, to engage our audience.
- Track performance and engagement metrics to optimize distribution strategy
- Collaborate with Sales to design personalized experiences for prospects, including tailored email sequences or personalized landing pages.
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) efforts by delivering highly customized content for key accounts or industries.
- 3-5 years marketing experience for a B2B business in the technology/software space (if you have experience of marketing to technical buyers that’s even better)
- Ability to optimize content for each channel's unique requirements and audience behavior
- Experience of creating, repurposing and distributing engaging, informative content
- Strong editorial skills to identify key messages worth highlighting, and the ability to tell stories through different formats
- Understanding of B2B content distribution channels (LinkedIn, email, industry forums, partner networks, etc)
- Experience of marketing automation platforms (we use Hubspot)
- Knowledge of paid distribution strategies such as LinkedIn ads and content syndication
- Understanding of marketing analytics and attribution, with the ability to generate insights and recommendations to optimize performance
- Excellent English, with great writing and communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Being comfortable with understanding and marketing a technical product to technical buyers
- Experience with technical messaging towards upper middle management audience
- Experience in data integration, ETL, data engineering or data science
- Skills with video creation and editing
- Experience with moderating webinars
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas, formats and channels (such as AI tools)
- Experience in running communities on social media
- Creative, with great writing and communication skills in technology-related topics
- Ready to bring new ideas to the table, and carry out experiment
- Experienced “doer” in marketing wanting to take on more responsibilities
