We are looking for a BIM Team Lead for our client, located in Ankara, who is willing to relocate to Ankara and work onsite.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and support a team of BIM modelers, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Manage team workflows and ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related issues within the BIM modeling team.
- Oversee the implementation of BIM processes as outlined by the BIM Project Manager, ensuring compliance with modeling guidelines and project frameworks.
- Coordinate with the Lead Engineer to address technical challenges and escalate unresolved issues.
- Conduct advanced clash detection, resolve inter-disciplinary clashes, and ensure project alignment across all stakeholders.
- Ensure comprehensive QA/QC procedures to maintain high standards in modeling and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the PMO to refine and improve BIM processes, workflows, and tools.
- Foster knowledge sharing and best practices among team members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a standardized software portfolio for diverse modeling needs.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain comprehensive project records.
- Regularly report project progress, resource utilization, and team performance to senior management.
Qualifications
✅Requirements:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in structural/civil or mechanical engineering/architecture.
- 8+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling, including team management roles.
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, Solibri, and Dynamo is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of BIM MEP and familiarity with plant design software (e.g., SmartPlant 3D or PDMS).
- Proven track record of managing teams in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of building applications, technical design, and commercial considerations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- High learning agility, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
