ROLE OVERVIEW We’re looking for an Account Supervisor with an in-depth knowledge of integrated campaigns to join us and grow with a tier 1, longstanding client overseeing the development and production of social, digital and all content led campaigns throughout the year. As an Account Supervisor, you are a senior member of the account team at SALT XC. You oversee a moderately-sized portfolio of business, which might be made up of multiple small to medium-sized clients or multiple brands for the same client. This role will have a specific focus on an FI client and the activation of product and sponsorship platforms. You are a proven leader, industry veteran, and great people manager. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Client Relations
- Deliver client satisfaction on assigned accounts and projects, while exhibiting end-to-end ownership for all projects being managed.
- Build solid, trusted partnerships with clients, team members, suppliers, and agency partners.
- Client lead in managing day-to-day relationships and projects
- Identifying opportunities to optimize and improve results on an ongoing basis.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business strategy, objectives, and brands.
- Liaise between internal teams and clients for effective program development and management.
- Keep your manager informed and updated regularly of all pertinent program & client information.
- Support, schedule, and manage account operations and activities.
- Schedule, oversee, and lead internal meetings and check-ins during the development and execution phases.
- Ongoing tracking of resource hours spent on a program against budgeted hours.
- Schedule, manage, and oversee the team assigned to your clients and/or projects.
- Identify people's needs on a project basis and formulate a resource plan.
- Work cohesively with cross-functional departments to ensure everyone has the tools and resources to execute with excellence.
- Detailed understanding of how & where the business makes money.
- Budget development, management, and reconciliation
- Track, manage & oversee P+L for the portfolio.
- Responsible for ensuring program profitability targets are met.
- Cost tracking and reporting
- Lead program financial reconciliations to exceed client specifications & requirements.
- Oversee account financial activities, including billings, payments, invoicing etc.
- Keen ability to see and defend budgets, providing multiple budget options to clients.
- Ensure timelines and program deliverables are met.
- Oversee plan for program setup/build, walkthroughs, execution days, and program wrap- up including key learnings.
- Ongoing tracking of program KPI’s with ongoing status updates to clients
- Strive for YOY organic growth with existing clients.
- Seek to uncover new growth opportunities with existing clients.
- Work with internal stakeholders to support the development and delivery of pitches to clients and potential clients.
- Support with the preparation of briefs, submissions, and responses.
- Support the business by creating and maintaining new policies, procedures, and ways of working.
- Proactively make suggestions about how work can be done more efficiently & effectively and implement new processes accordingly.
- 7+ years’ experience in the marketing industry, with 5+ years’ experience in Account Management or similar
- Strong understanding of producing various forms of content-led social and digital campaigns
- Experience with XM not required but considered an asset
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Experienced project manager
- Strong strategic thinker
- Natural people person with superior communication skills
- Strong foundational technology skills – familiarity with O365, social & digital media
- Better than average presentation skills – comfortable leading meetings and presentations for small and large groups
- Experience in managing program budgets and team P+L
- Strong organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue business growth opportunities.
