Job Title: Hardware Product Manager Location: London, Ontario Job Summary: The Hardware Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and launch of innovative hardware products tailored for the transportation sector. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, market insight, and project management skills to drive product success from concept to market Key Responsibilities:
- Define product vision and strategy in alignment with market needs and company goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop product specifications and capabilities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape in the transportation industry.
- Develop and manage product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business value and customer feedback.
- Interface with stakeholders, including customers, to gather requirements and ensure products meet user needs.
- Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure product performance and safety standards.
- Create and disseminate product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, analyzing metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage cross-functional teams effectively to ensure timely product releases and updates
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware product management, preferably in the transportation, railway or automotive sector.
- Strong understanding of hardware development processes and lifecycle.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing hardware products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams.
- Passion for innovation and forward-thinking in transportation technology.
