Business Development Lead Will report to the senior leadership team (CEO, CFO) Office Location: FBC Farringdon, London, EC1R 0NE Pay: £34-38K, experience dependent Duration: Permanent About Revenir: Revenir are a fintech company who have undergone a seed funding round, raising £2.5 million in late 2022. Revenir automates tax recovery through partnerships with banks, developing innovative digital technologies which banks can implement to generate revenue and add value to their services. Revenir are rapidly scaling their technology presenting several opportunities in a fast growing, start-up environment. The automation of tax recovery presents significant problem solving opportunities for developers who are keen to gain experience working in London’s fast growing fintech ecosystem. Revenir’s core product is a white label API, which enhances the capabilities of banking apps, automatically refunding VAT (Value Added Tax) to customers, typically within 48 hours. Banks are now collaborating with fintechs more than ever to drive innovation to enhance their customer experience through their marketplace. Summary:   As we launch our cutting-edge product into the market, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to join our team. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our senior team, gaining valuable experience in marketing, business development, sales and account management. The ideal candidate will be flexible, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our success in multiple areas as we grow. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior business development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with banks across the globe.
  • Conduct market research to support the development of sales strategies and identify potential clients.
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, marketing materials, delivering high quality content with strong attention to detail.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Assist in the management of client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing any issues or inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the business development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and coordinating events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the financial technology sector.
  • Contribute to team projects and initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.

  • Strong interest in financial technology and a desire to build a career in business.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and interpret data.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject
  • Previous experience in a sales, marketing, or customer service role is an advantage but not required.
