Curious about the NB Experience? We look forward to meeting you! We are looking for an experienced consultant to join our Group Benefits team in our Toronto office. The role involves managing projects for client organizations of various sizes and business sectors, and, depending on your interest, participating in business development. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Plan and manage ongoing projects and resources
- Delegate and check the work of consultants, associate consultants and analysts
- Make recommendations, anticipate needs and respond to requests from internal and external clients
- Take part in annual projects (budgets, financial statement analyses, renewals, etc.) and ad hoc projects (plan design analyses, benchmarking, market studies, etc.)
- Make recommendations to clients and propose solutions
- Prepare presentations for various concerned parties and members
- Contribute to research and development in one of our areas of expertise (drug management, international consulting, actuarial valuations, administrative solutions, DEI, health, tools and efficiency, etc.)
- Participate in external visibility activities (e.G., conferences)
- Help prepare proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Contribute to talent management
- University degree in one of the following fields: actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics or business administration
- At least eight years of relevant experience
- Consulting experience or relevant experience in group benefits

- Planifier et gérer les projets en cours et les ressources
- Déléguer et vérifier le travail de conseiller(ère)s, de conseiller(ère)s adjoint(e)s et d’analystes
- Faire des recommandations, anticiper les besoins et répondre aux demandes provenant de la clientèle interne et externe
- Participer à des projets annuels (budgets, analyses d’états financiers, renouvellements, etc.) et à des projets ponctuels (analyses de conception de régime, analyses comparatives, études de marché, etc.)
- Formuler des recommandations à la clientèle et proposer des solutions
- Préparer des présentations pour une variété de parties prenantes et de participant(e)s
- Participer à la recherche et au développement dans l’un de nos champs d’expertise (gestion des médicaments, consultation internationale, évaluations actuarielles, solutions administratives, EDI, santé, outils et efficacité, etc.)
- Participer à des activités de visibilité externe (des conférences par exemple)
- Participer à la préparation d’offres de service et de présentations pour la clientèle potentielle
- Participer à la gestion de talents
- Diplôme universitaire dans l’un des domaines suivants : actuariat, mathématiques, finance, économie ou administration des affaires
- Au moins huit années d’expérience pertinente
- Expérience en consultation ou expérience pertinente dans le domaine de l’assurance collective
