Quantity Surveyor

Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for working on impactful projects in the Nuclear and Defence sector ? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading client for a dynamic QS to support bidding and high-profile project delivery teams across a variety of clients. If you thrive in a contractor-side role and have solid experience with NEC contracts, this could be the opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary commercial interface with clients, managing discussions and negotiations.
• Provide strategic commercial advice and contract interpretation to Project Managers.
• Lead the preparation, submission, and management of Compensation Events (CEs) .
• Prepare and negotiate sub-contract agreements and related documentation.
• Manage sub-contractor Compensation Events effectively.
• Oversee and present monthly payment applications, liaising with clients for any necessary adjustments.
• Compile and deliver monthly financial reports in collaboration with Project Managers.

What You’ll Need

• Proven Expertise : Extensive experience in NEC3/4 contracts and contractor-side roles.
• Qualifications : HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience : Minimum of 3 years as a Quantity Surveyor (5+ years preferred).
• Skills :
• Strong sub-contract management and preparation capabilities.
• Familiarity with QSHEW operating procedures .
• Competence in handling sensitive commercial and confidential information.
• Ability to maintain accurate digital and physical records.
