This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities. - Toronto law firm specializing in Corporate, Real Estate, Litigation, Estates and Personal Injury Law. - Work in a technical and paperless office environment. - Office space located conveniently on Younge and Eglinton! Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist and manage multiple lawyers; - Perform Incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, revivals, wind-ups, continuances, and amalgamations; - Conduct Tax re-organizations and rollovers, corporate reorganizations, financings, and estate freezes; - Perform domestic and foreign extra-provincial registrations and licenses; - Drafting share provisions and preparing meeting materials; - Review minute books and prepare rectification documents; - Maintain physical and electronic document system; and - Assist withother administrative duties as needed. Requirements: - 8+ years of experience as a Corporate Law Clerk working in a law firm; - Law Clerk diploma from an accredited institution; - Extensive knowledge of OBCA, CBCA, CIA, LP Act; - Corporate searching knowledge; - Strong proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); - Strong communication skills and a team player with a willingness to learn; - Ability to project manage multiple files and lawyers' practices with a high attention to detail; and - Experience training junior law clerks.
