A Quantity Surveyor is needed to assist with large-scale engineering projects. Glasgow-based with hybrid work Your new company They are a world-class engineering services and nuclear organisation. Due to continued project wins, a Quantity Surveyor is sought to provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion, working both as part of a team and individually. Your new role Prepare cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, and supply chain payment assessment. Provide construction phase contract Quantity Surveying services including change management, contractor payment applications, final accounts. Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management and clients. Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery. Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior management. Key Skills
- BSc in Quantity Surveying.
- Nuclear experience
- Conversant in pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
- NEC contract experience.
- Understanding of applicable methods of measurement.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision and on own initiative.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
