They are seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage key accounts and drive sales growth within the biopharmaceutical sector in Scotland . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales, technical expertise in life sciences, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key biopharma stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing and expanding a portfolio of key biopharma accounts across Scotland.
- Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Building strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in areas such as drug discovery, clinical development, and translational medicine.
- Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and prospecting for new customers in the biopharma sector.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and applications specialists, to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on account performance to leadership.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
- 6–8 years of sales experience in the biopharma or life sciences sector, focusing on research tools, analytical instrumentation, consumables, or laboratory services.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant sales experience or a PhD with 1+ year in the field.
- Proven success in exceeding sales targets in the biopharma industry.
- Experience managing large, complex accounts in biopharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with innovative technologies such as immunoassay instrumentation and laboratory services.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders in Scotland’s biopharma ecosystem.
- Resides in or is willing to relocate to Scotland .
- Comfortable with 50%+ travel within the territory.
- Skilled at building relationships and negotiating with senior leaders in biopharma.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
