The ideal Business Development Executive will have excellent communication skills, previous SaaS experience, and a strong desire to pursue a career in renewable energy. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads, with a focus on renewable energy generators, including wind and solar assets, across North America.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers through research, cold outreach, and industry networking.
- Develop compelling sales pitches and proposals that emphasize how our data-driven SaaS platform enhances decision-making and planning for renewable energy operators.
- Tailor product demonstrations to meet the specific needs of each prospect, showing how CWP Energy Solutions' technology can maximize returns and reduce risk.
- Responsible for managing the entire sales process, including prospecting new opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, and closing transactions.
- Stay up to date on renewable energy trends.
- Conduct research and analysis on tradeshow attendees, providing valuable insights and facilitating potential collaborations.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement in line with the company’s entrepreneurial values.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales selling SaaS products.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral (essential due to territories covered).
- Understanding of the renewable energy market and energy solutions is a plus.

- Être responsable de la gestion du processus de vente, y compris la prospection de nouvelles opportunités, les démonstrations de produits et la conclusion de transactions.
- Se tenir informé des tendances dans le domaine des énergies renouvelables.
- Mener des recherches sur les participants aux salons (trade shows), facilitant des collaborations potentielles.
- Contribuer à une culture d'innovation, d'expérimentation et d'amélioration continue, en lien avec les valeurs entrepreneuriales de l'entreprise.
- Diplôme universitaire en administration, finance ou ingénierie.
- Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience en développement des affaires ou en vente de produit SaaS.
- Mentalité de "Hunter" démontrée.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation.
- Autonomie avec une mentalité axée sur les résultats.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral (essentiel en raison des territoires couverts).
- Compréhension du marché de l'énergie renouvelable (un atout).
