Job Title: AWS ARCHITECT Skills: AWS public cloud, Azure Experience: 10+ Years Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada Job Type: Full-time We at Coforge are hiring AWS ARCHITECT with the following skillset:

  • Proven experience in architecting end to end cloud solution from ground up for the enterprise.
  • Expertise in the AWS public cloud; added experience in Azure is preferred.
  • Experience of data center infrastructure, networking and other data center technologies is an advantage.
  • Certified in the public cloud (AWS or Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle methodologies (mainly agile).
  • Strong technical experience. This maybe broad experience with the ability to apply it across a variety of customer and business scenarios.
  • Financial acumen to support development of business cases and to inform key design decisions.
  • Ability to balance long-term direction and necessary short-term goals.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.
  • Strong personal impact and influence and good stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Conceptualize and define the Cloud solution, process and controls for the organization including control tower, landing zone etc.
  • Define cloud governance framework to standardize cloud governance practices with cloud native policies, technology, and compliance elements.
  • Take lead in the development of cloud solution roadmaps and architectures in alignment with the enterprise and group cloud architecture.
  • Review and ensure delivery team is following established cloud governance practices.
  • Lead the cloud migration roadmap to move on-prem application migration to cloud considering cost, architecture, operating model considerations.
  • Create Cloud solutions and design for projects to meet required standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambitions for availability, security, resilience, and performance.
  • Work with product owners, architects, platform teams and other project colleagues to agree trade-offs between, long-term and short-term goals.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the end-to-end cloud solution, including transition states used to achieve the target state.
  • Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints, ensuring that component parts deliver against business outcomes.
