CREGG is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician on a Swing Shift basis for our client based in Annacotty, Co. Limerick. Our client is a global medical technology company specialising in devices that enhance patient care. This client partners with customers to design and manufacture custom medical components and devices, offering expertise in design, development, and regulatory support. Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Technician, you will utilise your technical skills to support the manufacturing of medical device products. Key responsibilities will include (but aren't limited) to the following:

  1. Ensure Quality and EHS policies and procedures are adhered to always.
  2. Supporting the Day to Day Manufacturing and Process support.
  3. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Work closely with Team Leads to plan and prioritize planned changeovers and equipment setups.
  5. Work with the wider group in the Value Stream in identifying opportunities for yield and cost saving improvements.
  6. Work within the technician and wider engineering group in providing solutions to systematic downtime and process issues.
  7. Support CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) project activities within the Value Stream.
  8. Ensure effective communication and handover of downtime and process issues between shifts.
Professional Skills/Knowledge:
  • Engineering or relevant manufacturing qualification to Certificate level.
  • Ability to use interpersonal skills to handle day-to-day manufacturing and process issues.
  • Good mechanical aptitude to solve day-to-day mechanical issues in the production environment.
  • Self-starter with drive and enthusiasm for quality and yield improvements.
  • Ability to work as part of an effective engineering team.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in the Value Stream and wider site.
  • Injection molding experience (knowledge is preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the medical devices industry (preferred but not essential).
