About the job The port captain's main role is to ensure safe operations of the vessels and that all international marine requirements are followed. This includes assisting in the implementation and upkeep of the Safety Management System, TMSA & ETC. Responsibilities A shore-based professional who assumes responsibility for the safety of fleet vessels and the quality of company services. Acts as a crucial link between the vessel and shore-based management, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies. Plays a pivotal role in promoting a safety culture and monitoring the implementation of safety procedures onboard.
