Key Responsibilities Support the preparation of monthly IFRS17 reporting, including data transformation, actuarial cashflow projection and result analysis Support the review of IFRS17 related assumptions Close collaboration across teams to acquire and transform knowledge for IFRS17 solutions Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement disclosure, including fulfilling internal and external audit requirements Establish and maintain excellent control framework under IFRS17, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations Ensure deliverables are prepared accurately and within the required timelines Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IFRS17 reporting Provide guidance to junior members and perform peer review Key Decisions within the Role Apply a problem-solving mindset to identify deficiencies, explore options, and propose effective solutions Requirements Experience Minimum 4 years of actuarial valuation experience, with a strong understanding in IFRS17 valuation basis Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient at Actuarial work application (i.e. Prophet, MS Excel/VBA) and proficiency in additional programming languages is a plus Education Academic: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Actuarial Science (preferred) Professional Certification(s): Internationally Recognized Actuarial Body (preferred) – Actuarial student with good exam progress Attributes High level of integrity and accountability with a strong attitude towards teamwork Proactive in improving current processes and adaptable to new changes Eager to learn and demonstrate a growth mindset Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Analyst and Finance Industries Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
