Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse activities to ensure the efficient utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw material and finished goods inventories.
  • Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics, reviewing and preparing workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
  • Establish all operational policies for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and customer orders as well as damaged merchandise.
  • Comply with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Responsible for the supervision, development, and performance of the warehouse staff.
  • Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Ensure that performance goals are set and achieved through the proper execution of performance metrics as they relate to Productivity, Safety, Quality, and Customer Service.
  • Ensure all inventories on hand are handled properly in SAP throughout the reconciliation process and month-end closing.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data in the system.
  • Ensure the company's physical assets (building, equipment, inventory, etc.) are properly controlled, maintained, protected, and utilized.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in warehouse related to the Manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business operation related field strongly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of industry best practices for the warehouse.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical skills, including experience in SAP/ERP/WM/Master Data abilities are strongly preferred. Experience with warehousing programs is required, along with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize data.
  • Ability to interact with diverse customers and represent the company in a professional manner.
