We have the right mix of youth and experience within our teams to ensure dedication to your supply chain while also being able to stay on the front foot within a changing industry and remaining agile enough to modify our business practices to make use of any competitive advantages we may be able to achieve.This is a remote position for our Canadian offices and the individual will be expected to work PST/EST hours.ResponsibilitiesManaging Operations team and assisting them with their daily questionsManaging revisions and continuous improvement of Operations SOPsReviewing and monitoring the team’s export shipments on regular basisReviewing the Operations workload distribution on regular basisLiaising operations matters on daily basis with other departmentsRegister and maintain regular status of Export Shipments in the Company’s systemSystem data base management of the team including but not limited to: Shipment registrations data, organizations data, correct and regular eDocs archivingMonitor coordination of Shipment Operations and Documentations with overseas agents and local Canadian 3rd parties on daily basis and meet the deadlines where applicableCooperate closely with 1UP global offices, overseas agents and service providers toIdentify optimal solutions for the clients’ requirements and deliver the best possible service to the customers while protecting the integrity of 1UP businessManage and monitor workload of the teamLiaising Hiring/ firing / mentoring of the operations team with HR if approvedQC and audit of the files and timely closing of shipments.Ensure proper handling of shipments in accordance with the 1UP SOPReview, Analyze 1UP Quote & RATE BackupsReview, Analyze and post Accounts Payable/Receivable per Shipment on a timely manner.Review, Analyze and post Accounts Receivable per shipment on a timely manner.
