Ltd. is a customized software development company that offers services including web development, desktop applications, business applications, widget development, Facebook applications, application maintenance and migration, and internet marketing. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Hadoop Administrator. The Senior Hadoop Administrator will be responsible for Hadoop administration, Extract Transform Load (ETL), working with Big Data, Data Warehousing, and Hadoop technologies on a day-to-day basis. Experience – 3-5 years Work timing – 1.00 – 10.00 p.m (IST)Requirements
- Strong understanding of - Hadoop, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat Configuration
- Confident with – Red Hat Linux, Shell scripting for Linux, Maven, Rest Web Services, Git
- Familiar with– Oracle, Apache Solr, Redis, Zookeeper
- Deploying Hadoop cluster and maintaining a Hadoop cluster
- Troubleshoot issues in timely manner to ensure smooth business operations.
- Regularly monitor server health and service availability.
- Monitor application logs on all available environments.
- Write technical documentation to ensure clear understanding and facilitate future development.
- Be involved in shaping overall infrastructure landscape.
- Proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Good communication skills
