We are seeking a Site Engineer who will ensure the execution of projects (15-20) for sites assigned as per contract requirements and project guidelines in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Demonstrate absolute conformance in preparing system history reports on a daily basis accurately and record all project activities in the Resource Management System. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Plan and coordinate execution of all operational works, for sites assigned, from handover through to project closure including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring and demobilization.
Upon project handover, understand project requirements, contract, and method statement and ensure execution of activities as per project specifications. Any variances are to be reported to the Line Manager prior to execution.
For the sites assigned, ensure the following reports are generated: Picking Lists, Delivery Notes, Installation Reports, Start Reports, Damage Reports, Stop Reports, Site Progress and As Built Drawings, Manpower Records, Collection Notes, Site to Site Transfers.
Provide the following reports to the Line Manager: Daily and weekly Reports, Time sheets including overtime Monthly, and generate ad hoc site reports as requested.
Diligently monitor works assigned for resources on site and establish efficient means to optimize utilization and minimize overtime and other costs.
Participate in meetings with clients regarding project progression and performance on site, as and when required.
Responsible for all action assets, resources and the utilization and allocation for these in an efficient and optimal manner.
Serve as a single point of contact for all site operation related aspects for the Line Manager as well as the Operations team assigned.
Support the Line Manager by providing technical, engineering, and practical judgment during initiation & through the project life cycle.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory laws including QHSE standards and review site conditions for safety and quality.
Maintain good working relationships with all parties at all levels at all times when representing the Company, Sub-Contractors, Staff, and third parties.
Make a deliberate effort to gain a full understanding and working knowledge of the Company's QHSE Policies and Procedures and adhere to the same.
Ensure safety targets and a zero tolerance for unsafe working practices and conditions.
Ensure that all requests to perform unsafe work practices that may result in damage to machinery, people, or property are declined.
Notify the Safety Officer regarding any unsafe or potentially hazardous situations on site.
Prior to the commencement of site works, gain an understanding of the relevant project specifications and requirements.
On an ongoing basis, monitor all works against specifications to ensure the quality and accuracy of work performed is as per company standards.
Notify the Line Manager of any defects, mistakes, errors, contamination, or variations identified.
Ensure all applicable quality checklists are properly completed.
Set direction and objectives for team members and ensure achievement of their development plans.
Work closely with internal project stakeholders assigned to resolve any project risks associated with contracts, documentation & execution.
Identify & address problems and opportunities; bring those which are appropriate to the Line Manager; and facilitate discussion & deliberation.
Assist the Line Manager in preparing a rolling manpower plan for 6 months and justify needs for additional resources.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized University.
Knowledge in Groundwater control.
Experience in supervising multiple Construction projects.
Ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and guide personnel at multiple sites.
Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making.
Excellent team skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively across a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
4+ years of related work experience in a similar industry and role.
