IT Specialist

Responsibilities: Ensure seamless operation of computer systems, servers, network hardware, and software. Recommend purchases of computers, Synology NAS, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software. Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 (Exchange and Teams), Navision ERP, Synology NAS, Windows Servers, Sophos Firewall, Virtual Machines (VMs), VPN configurations, and Atera. Configure and manage Sophos Firewalls and VPNs for secure remote access. Implement security measures, backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and user access control. Manage Microsoft Exchange for email services, mailboxes, and distribution groups. Oversee Microsoft Teams for collaboration, user setup, and troubleshooting. Handle Microsoft 365 integrations, migrations, and upgrades. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP system – added advantage. Assist Navision consultants with system upgrades, module configurations, and integrations. Work with users and Navision consultants to resolve ERP-related issues and improve system usage. Administer Windows Servers, ensuring uptime, security, and performance. Manage virtualized environments (VMs) for business operations. Maintain Synology NAS systems and backups. Document IT workflows, issues, resolutions, and policies using Atera and other tools. Handle IT infrastructure operations, such as provisioning IT assets, email accounts, and Teams collaboration setups. Provide training and support for end-users on Microsoft 365, Navision, Exchange, Teams, and other platforms. Ensure IT operations meet corporate IT policies and standards. Travel to Malaysia and other site offices for system implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with local teams or consultants as required. Requirements: Diploma or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Ability and willingness to travel to Malaysia and other site offices as part of the role. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
