Company name: Precision company Job Title: Application Engineer (ID3322) Hours per week: Mon-Fri 8am – 5:15pm Location: Joo Koon, Southwest, Singapore Job category: Engineering and Technicians JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Based on customer requirement to recommend suitable Mazak machine model and option Perform time studies for customer workpieces, making machining process and fixture concept proposal, tooling list etc Create machining program and test cut customer workpiece, fulfil as per the requirements Conduct programming and operation training for customers On-site support new machine commissioning, workpiece test cut, runoff etc Provide technical support over the phone or on-site for customers Setup machine for showroom demonstration or open house / event REQUIREMENTS Minimum Polytechnic graduated with 3 years working experience in relevant field on CNC machining preferably in Turning and Machining Centers Proficient in using Solidworks and experienced on Hypermill or MasterCAM or NX Must have sound engineering background & application knowledge in metal cutting principles and techniques in a machine shop or manufacturing environment Coupled with this experience, the candidate will require excellent communication & presentation skills, both written and oral and have a high degree of self-motivation.
