Job Description Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of server-side development (e.g., Node.js), front-end development (e.g., React), and/or web service development (e.g., Spring Framework). Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with basic to intermediate networking. Database Management: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management. AI/GenAI Awareness: Basic concepts and applications of AI/GenAI, with some exposure to developing and implementing AI solutions. Server and Environment Management: Basic skill in setting up and configuring servers, and an introduction to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Soft Skill: Strong communication skill, effective problem-solving techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Programming Skill: A solid foundation in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or similar. Responsibilities Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. Exercises original thought and judgement and supervises the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. Builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
