What the role is: You formulate and implement cybersecurity policies, governance and regulatory frameworks to uplift cybersecurity across the MINDEF/SAF defence sectors i.e. MINDEF, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), DSO National Laboratories (DSO), Defence Industries and MINDEF-related Organisations. What you will be working on: Formulate cybersecurity policies and strategies Develop governance and regulatory frameworks Uplift cybersecurity across MINDEF/SAF defence sectors Liaise with various Singapore government agencies, such as Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, Smart Nation and Government Office and Government Technology Agency Challenges: Coordinating with multiple agencies for consistent policy formulation Aligning MINDEF/SAF cybersecurity strategies with national-level requirements Harmonising diverse cybersecurity needs across different defence sectors What we are looking for: Education in Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity related field Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information System Manager (CISM) or relevant GIAC certification is preferred At least 2 years of work experience in cybersecurity roles Creative and analytical problem-solving skills Strong decision-making abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
