Key Responsibilities: Strategic Solution Design : Lead the architecture and design of complex, end-to-end IoT solutions for smart cities and buildings, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and platforms to meet client-specific requirements. Client Engagement & Consulting : Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients, guiding them through digital transformation initiatives and developing tailored IoT adoption strategies. Build long-term client relationships by delivering value-based technical solutions. Team Leadership & Development : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solution architects and technical experts. Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration, while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Project Oversight & Delivery : Take ownership of IoT project delivery from initiation through completion. Oversee technical risk assessments, ensure timely execution of project milestones, and meet or exceed client expectations regarding technical specifications and quality. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, product management, engineering, and R&D teams to define innovative IoT solutions. Drive alignment between technical design and client expectations, ensuring consistent communication across departments. Technical Leadership & Innovation : Lead technical discussions across various departments to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with customer and industry goals. Stay ahead of emerging IoT trends like edge computing, AI/ML applications, and fog computing, integrating them into smart city and building solutions. Stakeholder Management : Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams, including executive leadership. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, IoT solutions, or smart building projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role . Proven experience leading and managing teams of solution architects, engineers, and technical consultants to deliver complex IoT solutions. Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale IoT platforms, particularly within smart city and building automation domains. Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), edge computing , and network architecture in IoT environments. Demonstrated success in driving technical strategy , managing technical risks, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and future-proof. Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and successfully delivering large, complex projects across multiple departments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and influence decision-making at all levels. Preferred : Experience with agile development methodologies, AI/ML applications for energy efficiency, and familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and facility management solutions.
