Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Commercial Director to join our team! In this role you will get to manage all contract activity on a major market program.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provides technical guidance to assigned personnel and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as Company and project needs arise. Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees. Collaborates with Commercial team, project management, and project controls management to ensure proper support for contract negotiations and administration.
  • Reviews requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.
  • Negotiates the more difficult or complex contractual issues.
  • Interacts with different departments within the SAPL, with Clients and others to enable proper execution of services.
  • Maintains active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 20+ years of experience is required.
  • Experience on mixed-use development projects.
  • Experience in PMO/PMC projects.
  • MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent.
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management software packages typically associated with contract administration and cost management.
  • Ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.
  • Experience in FIDIC contracts.
