About Wafeq At Wafeq, we are building the platform to power all finance-related needs of small to medium businesses in the Middle East, starting with accounting. Our accounting software makes it easy for businesses to manage invoicing, VAT, purchasing, payroll, employee expense claims, fixed assets and more. It's used by companies of all sizes, from single-person companies to VC-funded startups and everything in between. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, develop test plans, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  2. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on software applications.
  3. Run automated tests and analyze results.
  4. Identify, document, and track bugs.
  5. Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on QA input and effort.
  6. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  7. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
  8. Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  3. Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
  4. Native-level proficiency in Arabic.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  7. Effective communication and collaboration skills in English.
  8. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, XCUITest) is a plus.
This role is remote. You can work from anywhere between GMT+1 to GMT+4.
