Senior Manager / Director - Strategy & Transformation - Business Consulting - Qatar

The opportunity As a Strategy and Transformation Consultant in Business Consulting, you will be part of the team that helps clients solve enterprise-wide strategic, organizational, and operational issues by architecting solutions for complex problems. The focus activities would be related to translating strategy, redesigning operating models, transforming the operations and processes, and improving overall business performance. You will be expected to define problems and hypothesize solutions, facilitate client discussions, and present proposed improvements, perform qualitative and quantitative research for analytical purposes and consolidate different findings to support implementation activities. Our consultants work expands beyond client work, as you would be expected to support business development activities, proposal writing, and knowledge-building activities. Skills and attributes for success:

Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
Foster, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships at appropriate levels.
Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
Constantly developing your understanding of current strategy trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
Understanding our clients' unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible.
Develop people and create a positive learning culture through supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance management activities.

To qualify for the role you must have:

At least 10+ years of government-related work experience as a consultant or government employee.
At least three years of experience in leading projects on government strategy, policy making, target operating model design, process improvement, and/or technology implementation.
Proven track record in sales and business development for consulting work.
Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
Good analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
Strong drive to excel professionally.
A degree (graduate degree preferred) from a leading university in business, finance, or other quantitative disciplines (e.g., engineering) is preferred but not essential.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

Experience in working with government organizations.
Experience related to technology and digital transformation in government.
