Neonatology Consultant

Neonatologists are responsible for diagnosing and managing a variety of birth-related issues, including prematurity, low birth weight, birth defects, and infections. They are also expected to consult with other healthcare professionals and provide pertinent information to parents and families. REQUIREMENTS Qualification Requirements for Role of Consultant Neonatologist • Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship and three years of residency. • Completion of a recognized higher professional education program. • Certification of higher professional education recognized by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD), American Board of Neonatology or CCT or Member of the Royal College of Physicians (or its equivalent). • Minimum 5 years of experience since gaining the higher qualification or as per HAAD requirements. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered Consultant, Board Certified Specialist, CCT or HAAD recognized equivalent in the required specialty.
