Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Remote (UK) Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience) Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time About Patient Guard: Patient Guard is a leading Medical Device Consultancy with offices in the UK and EU. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture long-term B2B relationships with medical device manufacturers and stakeholders.
  • Promote Patient Guard's regulatory and quality assurance services to prospective clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, confidently addressing client inquiries on UK and EU regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to align business development efforts with Patient Guard’s growth objectives.
  • Represent Patient Guard at industry events, conferences, and meetings as required.
  • Meet quarterly targets for lead generation and new client acquisition to drive business growth.
Reporting Structure: This role will report directly to the CEO. What We’re Looking For: Experience:
  • A solid background in medical device regulatory compliance.
  • Deep understanding of EU MDR, UK MDR, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven track record in business development or client-facing roles within the medical device or healthcare sector.
Skills:
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and CRM tools.
