Australian Securities and Investments Commission Head of Performance Reporting and Planning Strategically lead the development and implementation of ASIC's performance reporting and planning functions. Permanent position with flexible and hybrid working conditions. Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane (other locations to be considered). The team The Enterprise Services Group is responsible for a range of critical functions each led by a high performing senior executive comprising: Finance (led by the Chief Financial Officer) Procurement, Property and Contracts Performance Reporting and Planning The group also provides a range of support, advice, and analysis across ASIC and is instrumental in enabling ASIC to be a modern effective regulator and enforcement agency. The role As the Head of Performance Reporting and Planning, you will lead the ongoing development and delivery of ASIC's strategic reporting, business planning, and performance reporting teams. You will oversee the collection of quarterly reporting data from across the organisation and evaluate internal and external KPIs to drive excellence in organisational performance reporting. It is a great opportunity to optimise operational planning processes and lead continuous performance improvement efforts. As a part of the leadership team, you will advise and support teams in the delivery of their annual planning and quarterly reporting activities and drive a long-term performance culture which enables ASIC to achieve longer term strategic objectives. The key duties of the position include: About you To be successful in this dynamic role you will have demonstrated experience in finance, business planning, and strategic reporting with a history of driving strategic outcomes. You will have strong analytical skills with experience in developing frameworks and performance metrics and translating complex data into actionable insights. A highly developed understanding of the Commonwealth performance and cost recovery framework will be advantageous. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams will be highly beneficial.
