Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multi- disciplinary Consultancy in London. As the selected candidate, you will work on high-profile mechanical design projects, collaborating with industry-leading developers and clients. In this role, you will contribute to energy-efficient and innovative systems across a variety of sectors, including Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Data Centres. Key Responsibilities:

• Work successfully as a member of the design team to deliver reports, specifications, performance and detailed design solutions
• Use Revit, computer-aided design and other resources to design the compliant systems solutions
• Carry out site surveys and capture relevant data
• Undertake design calculations to support and demonstrate compliance with client requirements aligned to the proposed solution
• Conduct reviews on construction designs
• Attend a range of technical and project group meetings

• Previous experience of design solutions from conception through to completion including calculations, drawings and specifications
• A Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND)
• Experience using Revit Software is essential
• Experience with IES modelling is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills
