Title : Category Manager Package : Up to £50,000 (negotiable) + Bonus + Remote First / Hybrid working in London and amazing benefits / perks! Overview : Ending the year strong working with one of our favourite clients in the Beauty space. This brand is a well-established business who has been in the game for decades! With a number of well-known brands under their belt, they are going from strength to strength! Responsibilities : Category Strategy Development

  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and gaps in the product assortment across priority International markets.
  • Report POS data and trends weekly pulling out key insight to ensure internal stakeholders are aware and can action.
  • Set and track category goals aligned with overall company objectives and report on the progress of these as needed.
Product Portfolio Management:
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including new product development, launches, and phase-outs to complete an annual portfolio optimization process.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to create innovative and high-quality products that meet market and consumer demands.
  • Ensure product compliance with industry regulations and sustainability standards.
Sales and Marketing Collaboration:
  • Work closely with International Brand Manager to complete market research in key International markets, highlighting sales trends
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing strategies and promotional awareness.
  • Monitor category performance and align with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure insight is turned to action.
You Are :
  • 3+ years of experience in a Category or Insights role, ideally within the Beauty sector.
  • Power BI and Excel skills / reporting
  • Proven track record of driving category growth in International markets.
Experience managing categories in both brick-and-mortar and online channels.
  • Ability to manage data from different categories to create compelling and insightful reports.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales processes, and brand positioning.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
