Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development
- Communicate Orchidea’s unique value proposition to build brand awareness and market penetration.
- Advise on and evaluate target clients, developing and executing compelling business strategies.
- Build and nurture strong internal and external client relationships, expanding your professional network.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and technology teams to implement business development strategies.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential clients, projects, and market opportunities.
- Network strategically and secure meetings with key decision-makers.
- Approach, engage, and persuade prospects to make value-driven business decisions.
- Represent Orchidea at key industry conferences to build lasting relationships.
- Maintain strong client relationships post-project initiation.
- Schedule regular meetings to uncover new opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics.
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience in market research or a related industry.
- Proven track record of selling market research services, including design, scripting, online panels, and data processing.
- Experience engaging decision-makers and selling high-value services to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals and maintaining satisfied clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in CRM tools.
- Flexible start/finish times within core hours.
