Are you ready to play a key role in the UK’s energy transition? We are seeking a driven and ambitious Commercial Manager to join a rapidly growing company committed to decarbonising the road freight sector. In this pivotal role, you will be supporting both our Commercial and Land Acquisition teams, reporting directly to the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact projects while helping scale our efforts to deliver clean energy solutions to the logistics sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-company special projects, delivering commercial analysis across network development, strategic partnerships, energy procurement, and investment modelling.
  • Prepare investment materials for senior leadership and Board presentations.
  • Conduct market analysis on EV charging, HVO, renewable natural gas, and hydrogen refuelling trends.
  • Evaluate business models, acquisitions, and opportunities for market entry.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for power demand and supply solutions.
  • Manage expert advisers, suppliers, and team development efforts.
  • Collaborate across various aspects of the business, contributing to company growth and success.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent), along with practical or professional experience in energy, transport, infrastructure, or corporate finance.
  • At least 3 years of commercial experience in relevant sectors.
  • Proven financial analysis skills with experience in financial modelling and project feasibility assessments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Evidence of the right to work in the UK at the expected start date of the role.
