As Deputy Supply Chain Tooling Manager, you'll support the Tooling Manager to oversee the maintenance, distribution, and compliance of tools. The Role As Deputy Supply Chain Tooling Manager, you’ll support the Tooling Manager to oversee the maintenance, distribution, and compliance of tools used across all operational sites. You’ll be integral to enhancing processes, maintaining data accuracy, and driving improvements that ensure tools are always functional, safe, and in compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Tooling Equipment Management: Manage tooling data, conduct regular reviews, and ensure compliance with performance standards.
- Process Development: Support the creation of processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and supplier performance.
- Tool Assurance Inspections: Lead weekly tooling checks and regular audits across sites, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Compliance Oversight: Conduct inspections of quarantine stores, tool receipts, and line maintenance tools, and prepare reports for leadership.
- Tool Loan Coordination: Manage tool loans, transfers, and returns, ensuring operational demands are met and assets are maintained.
- Proven experience in supply chain operations with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of aviation logistics and its key principles
- Proficiency in calibration management principles, tooling systems, and key business tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and implementing solutions.
