- Business Development: Identify and engage with potential enterprise clients, focusing on merchants, fintechs, and global businesses that can benefit from the platform.
- Client Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our services.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate the value of our solutions to clients, addressing their unique needs.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, operations, and customer success, to ensure seamless onboarding and support for clients.
- 3+ years of experience in new business/sales, preferably in fintech, payments, or technology.
- A proactive self-starter with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Has experience using CRM tools and analytics to manage sales pipelines and performance metrics.
- Thrives in a team-oriented culture while also being effective independently.
- Possesses a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and mobile money markets in Africa (advantageous).
