Your Role As Principal Backend Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and optimise backend systems for a large-scale mobile app, ensuring seamless scalability for millions of users. You will collaborate and sit across multiple engineering tribes and act as a advisor/SME for everything backend. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend systems for mobile applications, using Node.js.
• Advise engineers on best practices and architectural decisions
• Ensure app performance and scalability as the user base grows.
• Mentor Senior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
