The Team Mc Cullough Robertson’s Insurance and Corporate Risk group is a recognised leader in the Australian legal industry. We provide comprehensive advice across all areas of insurance, including public and product liability, ISR, contract works, property, professional indemnity, D&O, workers' compensation, marine, and aviation. The Role We are growing our team and invite an enthusiastic lawyer to join our thriving practice. This role will largely involve defending personal injury claims, particularly focusing on historical abuse claims. However, you will also gain exposure to a broad array of legal matters including public liability, property damage, workers compensation, policy interpretation, coverage litigation, and general insurance and contractual matters in a range of industries. Our client portfolio encompasses key players in construction, resources, agribusiness, property ownership, not-for-profit, technology, and infrastructure, and you will have opportunities to build close relationships with clients and training in business development skills. This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate lawyer looking to grow their career in the insurance sector. Experience The ideal candidate will be a motivated and technically proficient professional with a minimum of three years post-admission experience. A strong background in personal injury claims is essential. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in defendant insurance litigation and those with plaintiff experience who have the drive and ambition to transition to defendant work.
