Operations Coordinator

Peermusic NR is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our operation team based in Montreal, Canada. Operation Assistant (75%) and Office Assistant (25%). Peermusic is the largest independent music publisher and neighboring rights representative globally, with 39 offices in 32 countries. Peermusic Neighboring Rights (NR) specializes in collecting royalties for performers and record producers worldwide, predominantly arising from neighboring rights. These rights accrue to performers and record producers when music recordings to which they’ve contributed, or financed the production of, are played in public. Peermusic NR represents a diverse range of artists and record producers, spanning numerous genres and cultures. Responsibilities would include: · Various Data entry tasks into the Client and Catalogue database · Assisting and managing performer and rights owner registrations with several collecting societies across the world · Assisting in the claiming of repertoire for performers and rights owners with several collecting societies across the world · Assisting in onboarding of new clients · Communicating with clients in the event we need additional information/documents · Assist with other projects as needed · Managing incoming and outgoing (basic) client queries · Expense reports · Processing of Checks · Other various office duties Qualifications: · The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast learner, have great organizational skills, excellent time management and have sound judgement · Proficient in Excel is a MUST · Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French (preferred)· Diplomacy and tact with clients both on the phone and by email For consideration, please send resume with a cover letter to bleger@peermusic.com
