Sr. Systems Support Engineer Contract : 20 months / 1 year, 8 months Hybrid : 3 days on-site - North York, ON Rate : $45-60/hr Required Skills & Experience - 5-7 years experience working as a Systems Support Engineer both on-premise (linux OS) and on cloud platforms. - Strong administration experience with legacy services and SAP software including SAP HANA, SAP XS Advanced (XSA), and SAP Data Services. - Strong experience with cloud infrastructure administration with a preference for Azure cloud - Experience managing high availability (HA) environments and replication technologies such as SDI, Attunity (Qlik) Replicate, etc. - Knowledge of automation tools including Jenkins, GitLab and/or Azure Data Factory. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. - Proactive, clear, and concise communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Experience working in the financial industry - Experience working with Snowflake DB and related data services. - Experience and knowledge of system security Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Systems Support Engineer to join a large financial client on a 20 month contract hybrid in North York 3 days a week. The successful candidate will lead a high visibility initiative to migrate a number of legacy services from on-premise to Azure cloud. This initiative involves owning the application configuration, maintenance, reliability, and deployments to their cloud platform. Previous experience working with SAP systems, data migration, automation tools, and cloud platforms is crucial to succeed in this role.
