- Develop and execute a strategic investor communications plan to effectively convey value proposition
- Support the development of the company’s news flow, prepare and manage news releases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, managing investor databases and coordinating regular outreach
- Organize and oversee investor activities, including conferences, roadshows, quarterly update calls, and other engagements
- Craft and manage external messaging materials such as corporate presentations, website content, and Investor Centre resources
- Manage and develop the investor relations external messaging materials including the corporate presentation, the Investor Centre section of the company’s website, etc.
- Represent at investor-related events, serving as the primary liaison for the investment community
- Compile and analyze investor data to create regular analytics reports and inform strategic decisions
- Detect ongoing operational changes in the organization, track them through ongoing contact with management and convey properly with the investors
- Ensure regulatory compliance for investor relations activities, acting as the main point of contact for related inquiries
- Perform other duties as required to support the company’s strategic objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing relationships and mentoring team members
- Proficiency in MS Office, with demonstrated ability to design professional presentations and messaging materials
- Advanced database management skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience interpreting and managing technical documents
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently, using initiative and flexibility to meet demanding deadlines
- Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related technical field
- At least 15 years of IR experience with at least 5 years in a senior/executive leadership capacity.
- The majority of the experience should be in forward-facing roles involving direct investor interaction.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course or the CIRI/Rotman Investor Relations Certificate is considered an asset.
