Primary Duties and Responsibilities: As part of Eaglecom’s Media and Analytics leadership team, the Director, Data Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data-driven strategies. This senior-level position will focus on leadership, innovation, and collaboration to drive measurable client success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead Eaglecom’s data strategy by designing and implementing advanced analytics frameworks that align with client goals and agency objectives.
  • Media Mix Modeling: Develop and refine media mix models to evaluate the effectiveness of multi-channel campaigns and recommend optimal budget allocations.
  • Media Correlation Analysis: Identify and analyze correlations between media spend and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive actionable insights.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Translate complex data into actionable insights to inform media planning, optimize campaign performance, and drive decision-making across departments.
  • Web Analytics Integration: Leverage website analytics data to create comprehensive performance analyses that link online and offline campaign outcomes.
  • API Integration: Design and manage automated data pipelines using APIs to streamline data collection and reporting from media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting insights, trends, and opportunities that enhance fundraising outcomes and elevate their missions.
  • Innovation in Analytics: Pioneer the development of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics techniques to stay ahead in the evolving media landscape.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including media buying, creative, and client services, to integrate data insights into holistic campaign strategies.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Establish and oversee robust data governance practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all analytics outputs.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, sharing knowledge to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and internal processes, ensuring alignment with Eaglecom’s strategic objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis, visualization, and advanced analytics tools (e.G., Tableau, Power BI, R, Python).
  • Proven expertise in media mix modeling, media correlation analysis, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with website analytics platforms (e.G., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and integrating online/offline campaign data.
  • Proficiency in working with APIs to automate data retrieval and reporting from various platforms.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
  • Strong leadership, team building and project management skills with a track record of driving successful data initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • High-level critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Familiarity with media buying, advertising, or fundraising is a significant asset.
