About the Role (your why) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of application development & cloud architecture methodologies and a proven track record in delivering complex solutions. This role will be pivotal in driving our pre-sales consulting activities, including RFx, discovery, solution design, and estimation for various application modernisation and application development projects. This is a client facing role, so you'll need to be an excellent communicator and good with people. The Principal Consultant works closely with practice leads, project managers, and client stakeholders and teams. What you’ll do Pre-Sales Consulting

1. Lead and participate in client discovery workshops to understand business requirements and technical challenges.
2. Design and architect robust application solutions, aligning with business objectives and technical constraints.
3. Develop compelling technical proposals and presentations to win new business.
4. Provide accurate and timely estimates for project scopes and timelines.

Solution Architecture

1. Define and document detailed application architecture blueprints, including component diagrams, data flows, and integration points.
2. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
3. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.

Technical Leadership

1. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
2. Stay up to date with the latest application development trends and technologies.
3. Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and methodologies.

Client Engagement

1. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
2. Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
3. Proactively address client concerns and questions.

1. Proven experience as a Principal Consultant in application development & cloud architecture.
2. Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
3. Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications.
4. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET, Python, React, Angular).
5. Proficient in Azure services, networking, and security best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
