Your new company This reputable mid-sized law firm in North York is widely regarded as a leader in its category for corporate and commercial real estate work. Your new role The corporate group lawyers will be counting on your expertise in many aspects of business incorporation and organization, including name registrations, due diligence reviews, amendments, dissolutions, amalgamations, re-organizations, extra-provincial registrations and regulatory compliance. You will be asked to provide support to the corporate side of real estate financings including, but not limited to limited partnerships with general partners, title nominees, drafting papers, resolutions, rollover agreements etc. although experience in this respect is not required. What you'll need to succeed We're looking for a minimum of 5 years of experience and someone who is passionate about the corporate work they're doing who might be interested in adding a new skill to their "toolbelt." Other Clerks that have been tremendously successful at the firm have not come to the firm with any real estate knowledge, but with their foundational skillset and desire to learn, have thrived and taken full ownership of their files. What you'll get in return Compensation is competitive at this firm but varies largely depending on experience- $85,000-120,000 with two remote working days following probation, medical and dental benefits and 4 weeks of vacation. For candidates that are looking for greater growth opportunities and have a desire for more professional opportunities, the firm's long term goals are to transition a Clerk in the corporate group into a supervisory role.
