About the Role Brookfield Renewable’s Communications team is committed to engaging employees and enhancing our brand’s presence across all audiences. We focus on clear and consistent messaging to build a strong internal culture and meaningful stakeholder relationships, ensuring our brand and value proposition are impactful. To support this mission, we are seeking a versatile and experienced communications professional to join us as a Communications Specialist, Creative Services. Role Overview: Reporting to the Manager, Communications, you will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering compelling communications that strengthen employee engagement and promote a cohesive, unified brand image for both internal and external audiences. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will bring strategic and conceptual thinking, delivering creative solutions to complex ideas while efficiently managing workflows and deliverables. Key Responsibilities
- Develop professional, engaging content aligned with communications objectives.
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across platforms and with external partners.
- Draft, review, and oversee translations for internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with team members and business partners to generate fresh ideas and innovative strategies.
- Manage and maintain websites, intranet platforms, and marketing tools, while supporting the adoption of new technologies.
- Assist in planning and executing communications strategies for change initiatives, including assessment, implementation, and effectiveness tracking.
- Create compelling content for multiple channels, including email, presentations, live events, videos, websites, and social media.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by building relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues.
- Support and coordinate corporate events.
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Political Science, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively across various formats.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Deep understanding of communication mediums (print, web, presentations, advertising, and social media) and their strategic applications.
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Resourceful, autonomous, and driven, with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Proficiency in web design, including experience with design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
- Experience in photo and video editing.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is essential.
