As Director of Operations at Adamson , you will play a critical role in creating and directing an operations team that effectively manages both strategic and day-to-day production – preparing that team for aggressive growth while enhancing the work environment. As a leading member of an expanding executive, your primary responsibilities will be to pursue primary manufacturing priorities of efficiency, capacity, and quality. To achieve these priorities, you will:
- Develop and mentor a new Operations Team through fresh recruitment plus integration of existing members of our production and ERP teams
- Build and execute an operations strategy for accelerated capacity growth
- Develop a strategic plan for the implementation of automated assembly cells
- Manage Continuous Improvement
- Lead the trend of digitalization of manufacturing
- Interact with engineering improving DFM in product and process design
- Establish a TQM program
- Engage in long term capacity and facilities Capex planning
- Provide leadership in master scheduling and inventory control initiatives
- Analyze current – find better
- Financial costs analysis to set max run
- Setup costs set min run
- Assist in all areas relating to engineering, development, planning, manufacture and related infrastructure.
- At least one BASc (required)
- An MBA (preferred)
- 10 years’ experience
- Discrete manufacturing/operations
- ERP scheduling environment
- Mixed mode manufacturing
- Excellent communications skills
- Fluency in English (required)
- Skilled with presentations
- Ability to command a meeting
