Business Development Manager About this Role: We are hiring on behalf of our Calgary based client for a Business Development Manager with 5+ years of experience in civil construction. Our client has been around for 40+ years and has projects focused in civil construction. With their headquarters in BC, they are entering a phase of exciting growth and expanding throughout Canada. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and identifying business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential markets, projects, and clients
• Develop strategies to secure new contracts and partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders
• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback
• Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and project managers to prepare competitive bids
• Develop detailed proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and project scopes
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution post-sale
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred
• 4+ years experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role
• Experience in civil construction experience is a must
• Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel

What We Can Offer You:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000k+ base + commission + bonus (OTE $190k+)
